Jr Accountants (US Accounting)  are frequently responsible for many different duties, such as:

• Monitoring the daily bookkeeping task of multiple clients.
• Preparing year-end statements and consolidated statements periodically..
• Reconcile Account Receivable, Account Payables and Fixed Assets subledger balances.
• Preparation of 1120, 1120S (Corporate & S-corporation), 1065 (Partnership), and comparing them with previous year returns.
• Preparation and filing of 1099-misc from the accounts.
• Preparing and reviewing inventory and tax payable adjustments.
• Experience in calculating sales tax for different state clients..
• Clearing all diagnostic errors from the return and preparation of e-file for upload.
• Update of work papers with notes for CPA to review in a timely manner.

Jr Accountants (Canadian Accounting) are frequently responsible for many different duties, such as:

• Prepare bank reconciliation and put necessary adjustment entry in GL.
• Preparation of Accrual Schedule and Accrual entries on each month close.
• Preparing Balance sheet reconciliations for various Balance sheet accounts.
• Reconcile Account Receivable, Account Payables and Fixed Assets subledger balances.
• Prepare engagement report based on client’s requirement.
• Preparation of compilation engagements : T2 for Canadian clients.
• Enforce the internal compliance policy and guideline established by the management on their daily operational activities.
• Perform daily internal audit to ensure all Invoices / queries are balanced as per the guidelines.
• Basic understanding of accounting and financial transaction.
• Preparation of financials in Caseware.
