Remote Bookkeeper

The bookkeeper will be responsible to oversee a client's financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Bookkeeping of 2-5 years in Canadian Process.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.

    principles.
  • Proficiency in Quickbooks online minimum 2 years

  • Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers

Sr Accountant

The position requires an experienced and ambitious candidate who is passionate about handling corporate finance & worked with the Canadian accounting process.

Job description

  • Prepare  bank reconciliation and put necessary adjustment entry in GL.
  • Preparation of Accrual Schedule and Accrual entries on each month close.
  • Preparing Balance sheet reconciliations for various Balance sheet accounts.
  • Reconcile Account Receivable, Account Payables and Fixed Assets subledger balances.
  • Prepare engagement report based on client’s requirement.
  • Preparation of NTR compilation & T2 for Canadian clients.
  • Enforce the internal compliance policy and guideline established by the management on their daily operational activities.
  • Perform daily internal audit to ensure all Invoices / queries are balanced as per the guidelines.
  • Responding to any queries related to payables / Audit query resolutions (Statutory/Internal).
  • Basic understanding of accounting and financial transaction.
  • Preparation of Corporate tax (T2)  & Individual Tax (T1).
  • Preparation of financials in Caseware.
  • T-slips reconciliations.

Essential Skills

  • MBA (Finance) / M. Com/ CA inter with Minimum 3 – 6 years of experience mainly in BPO or Shared Services environment.
  • Proficiency in Advance Excel (must have).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, managers, technical staff, and others from different cultures/ levels both internal and external to the firm.
  • Results driven, detail oriented, and hardworking.
  • Ability to manage multiple and shifting priorities in a dynamic environment and to meet tight and various deadlines.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Canadian accounting process is required.

Salary : Salary based on LDS
